Have passed up this very small place often and decided to stop today. Had a small cup of 7 bean soup, and also got a small cup of the egg salad to try. Food was great, very comforting! This is true, honest, home cooking being put out of a small deli. The prices are not bad for the quality of food being served. The service is also very welcoming, they make you feel as if you are an old friend coming over for lunch.

Absolutely delicious food and wonderful people here. I tried the stuffed peppers along with the chicken and dumpling soup. Best soup I’ve ever had and the peppers changed me from a pepper hater to lover. Stop by for a warm meal sometime if you’re able, it’s worth it!

The owners are very kind to their patrons and their food is like a hug. Stopped in today for some homemade soup, egg salad and a yummy nut brownie to bring home to my spouse. Make sure to stop by for their entrees of the day if you're in the area. My absolute favorite is the beef stroganoff 😋 You can't go wrong with their food!! …

Live in Dixon but sons families live in Wheaton and GE and always follow Danada Deli on Facebook. House sitting and had my 90 year old sister out. Tried all four. Soups and Italian sub. Outstanding! Told daughter-in-law and she and grandson stopped for turkey sandwich meal. They said delicious! He said was going to tell all his team mates about the best place to go. Thank you for having such a great little gem.

I stopped in there for a quick bite. Heard great things. All the things I heard were spot on! Orders two sandwiches and a soup and was blown away. So fresh and the tastes were so well balanced. Everything you could ask for in a good sandwich. Looking forward to trying some of the hot dishes they offer. No doubt they are probably amazing! Also very friendly staff. Which also goes a long way. Do everything you can to try this place it will not disappoint.

Went for the special. It was pork chops, and they were delicious. Highly recommend the Soups too. Tried the split pea and the cream of rice. Both good. Great place for sandwiches, since they have great selection and so fresh.

Update: I was looking for a great deli near me, I called and they had moved it to Roosevelt Rd. from Danada Square in Rice Lake... I can walk / ride a bike there now! The people there are so very friendly & helpful, keep it nice, clean, bright & inviting! HOMEMADE FOOD DAILY ! Daily specials*, soups*, & they have homemade desserts*... You can check*** by clicking on their website 9-10am daily to see what they are... It's so very helpful/convenient, I really like it... The owners & staff take pride in all they do, & reflects in their store, food & service, it really shows! Love ALL their food & desserts! - it's REALLY SO very yummy! There's tables to dine in / or can take it to go... Got their corned beef, tuna, egg, & chicken salad sammies... The Mititei/Cevapi sausage too! (all very good) I can't wait for more homemade Hungarian sausage coils which they make in house also! Mmm They're amazing! Great place! You can pay cash or credit.. Labai acui jums... Paul
